There is an emphasis on journalism skills in this class! Alpine offers a variety of ways to can help our school. Reach out to administration or the registrar to sign up for the latest opportunity to serve as a guest speaker, chaperone an event, or help out on campus

Leadership is an elective at Alpine Academy, but it is not recommended to take if you only need an extra class. It requires determination, grit, teamwork, communication skills, and often time outside of class. Although for the extra-motivated, passionate, and social students who love to help lead, this class is perfect. We host and organize assemblies for the whole school, fundraise through selling food and silent auctions, and help create a friendly environment for the school. We also plan events like karaoke nights, movie nights, festivals, and prom. We have different committees and positions (such as President, Vice President, and Secretary) to organize our team. We make sure that everyone has a job they enjoy and nobody is left behind. Despite this class taking a bit of extra work and time, it is extremely fun and worth it for those who want to join.
